第44回/2023年日本インターナショナルダンス選手権大会は2023年6月17日（土）と18日（日）に有明コロシアム（東京都江東区）で開催されました。6月17日（土）のプロラテン部門では、Dorin Frecautanu・Marina Sergeeva組が優勝しアマスタンダード部門では五月女光政・五月女叡佳組が昨年に続き連覇を果たしました！
プロラテンアメリカンで優勝したDorin Frecautanu & Marina Sergeeva 組はラテンアメリカンダンス プロフェッショナルダンサーでヨーロッパラテンアメリカンチャンピオン3連覇を獲得した選手です！WDC世界ランキングプロフェッショナルラテンで1位を獲得し、世界中の主要な大会と選手権のトップファイナリストです。
増田大介さんと塚田真美さんは、2021年にJBDF日本インターナショナルダンス選手権プロラテンアメリカンで優勝しました。
日本人選手の優勝はなんと22年ぶりです！素晴らしいですね！
